Heat Treating:
Is the controlled heating and cooling of metals to alter their physical and mechanical properties without changing the product shape. Heat treatment is sometimes done inadvertently due to manufacturing processes that either heat or cool the metal such as welding or forming. We ensure that every heat treat order conforms to your specifications and other requirements through appropriate testing and inspection techniques.
Saw-Cutting:
Is the primary method of obtaining cut-to-size material. We are capable of cutting all materials, any size, and any quantity, up to 50 HRC. We also cut circles and shapes!
Mechanical Testing:
Divulges the behavior of a material when force is applied. Mechanical testing shows whether a materials or part is suitable for its intended mechanical applications by measuring elasticity, tensile strength, elongation, hardness, and fatigue limit.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT):
Uses high frequency sound energy to conduct examinations and make measurements. Ultrasonic inspection can be used for flaw detection/evaluation, dimensional measurements, material characterization, and more.
Water-Jet Cutting:
Is a tool capable of slicing into metal or other materials using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. It is the preferred method when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures generated by other methods.
